Yes. PSC provides support via telephone, online voice calls and apps that utilise voice chat. The telephone consultations are slots secured by you for a date and time that suits your needs. The consultations involve a listening and support service for people struggling with emotional distress, low mood, anxiety, stress and other ongoing mental health issues. The telephone consultations can also be used as support for ongoing coaching, addiction guidance, bereavement support and relationship support. This service is tailored to your needs and the least restrictive method offered by PSC as you can receive support from professionals anywhere at any time.
The correct diagnosis can provide clarity, increase your self-esteem, increase self-awareness and provide a clear explanation for your symptoms. Understanding your diagnosis can lead to more effective treatment plans and provide a sense of relief. When a known diagnosis has been identified it allows the necessary support to be put in place, whether that be ongoing support in school, work or within the community. A diagnosis can be beneficial for some, but others may feel it doesn’t fully capture their ongoing struggles. PSC aims to fully investigate any comorbidities that may be underlying and appropriately assess each client in a person-centred manner.
At Plain Sailing Care, we offer a free, no-pressure 15-minute consultation to help you explore your options and decide what feels right for you.
